Beau Russell – Broadcast Journalist

Beau Russell recently worked as a morning “Floor Manager” for KNWA and Fox 24 News (owned by Nextstar) in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Beau currently works as News Director of UATV, and continues to be a Producer, Anchor, and Reporter. Beau and UATV staff have won two Mid-American Emmy’s with UATV. Beau has worked as a videographer for University of Arkansas athletics, as well as a stat recorder for CBS Sports.

As News Director, Beau works to ensure that UATV is providing relevant, local, and accurate stories to students, staff, and families of the University of Arkansas. Beau strives to make sure that UATV is among the top student broadcasts in the country.

UATV PRODUCER/ANCHOR/REPORTER(2021 – CURRENT)
Beau has produced news casts, has gathered footage and set up live shots for reporters, has reported live, and has anchored.

VIDEOGRAPHER(2021-CURRENT)
Beau captured footage and interviews for University of Arkansas athletics, specifically the football and men’s basketball programs.

CONGRESSMAN STEPHEN F LYNCH(2018 – 2019)
Beau assisted the Congressional office of Congressman Stephen F. Lynch. Beau answered constituent calls, assisted in meetings, and daily office duties.
